2020 Update: Do What's Best For You



Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog, and Happy New Year! I know I'm late, and we're about to head into February, but I'm happy to share my first official blog post for 2020.

So, how has everything been going for you this month? have you been sticking to your resolutions for the new year? did you break a bad habit? or did you step out of your comfort zone and try something new? Whatever the case may be, it's a blessing to make it to another year. You overcame all of the obstacles that were thrown at you in 2019, you're here, you're stronger, and you're better!

A new year means a fresh start, and a new mindset. Everything that you were stressing or worrying about last year, doesn't even matter right now. Those toxic relationships, the negative self-talk, self-sabotage, and self-betrayal ends right now. We're not carrying that baggage anymore, it's too draining, and we left all of that negativity in 2019.

So, here's a list of things that we're focusing on in 2020:

In 2020, we're praying more and spending more time with God.
In 2020, we're setting goals for ourselves and we're striving to accomplish them.
In 2020, were only giving our time and energy to people who reciprocate it.
In 2020, we're practicing self-care by eating healthier and exercising.
In 2020, we're speaking good things into existence, no more negative self-talk.
In 2020, we're taking risks and stepping out of our comfort zones.
In 2020, we're going to love & value ourselves more, self-love is the best love.
In 2020, we're making our mental health a priority.
